I worked with Dominique for several years at Dow Jones, and most recently when I headed up Product for WSJ. Dominique worked on several high profile initiatives, with various technical complexities, solving for everything from creating dynamic components on the front end of our websites, to writing services to handle personalization across our products. He always came to these projects with a passion for the technology and has always been tireless in finding the best solution and bringing his team members along for the ride. Countless engineers have learned from him at DJ, and some lucky ones have been mentored by him. Dominique communicates a deep respect for architectural solutions that can help push business goals forward but is a strong believer in approaching these solutions the right way, without shortcuts that cause more harm in the long run. DJ benefitted greatly from that conviction. I hope I get the chance to work with Dominique in the future and learn from him again.

I worked closely with Dominique at Dow Jones for over six years. He is an excellent software engineer with a lot of diverse knowledge and experience. His knowledge of systems architecture and cloud centric deployments drove many efforts to build out web applications and backend systems that needed to handle large volumes of traffic. He was my manager, but more than that, he was my mentor. There is no doubt in my mind that I am a better software engineer now because of the time he has spent working through architectural problems and solutions with me.

Even, when Dominique become my manager, it was a combination of the mentorship and partnership (which I always be thankful).
